SOLVING THE MOST COMMON MISTAKES MADE WITH WATERCOLOUR PENCIL

Have you ever said: “I loved art as a kid… but I’m not creative anymore.”

or simply wanting to know how WC pencil works and avoid some of those simple mistakes such as muddy areas and tonal creation?

This session is for you. The 2.75 Art Reset is a small, workshop where I gently guide some foundational skills to create a unique artwork.

You do not need talent, experience, or confidence. I designed this for adults who are curious about art but too intimidated to start on their own. Using a simple drawing-first method, you will build your artwork slowly and then watch colour come to life with water. Most people arrive nervous. Most people leave surprised by what they made.

What You Will Do

• Learn some foundational elements of how WC pencil works and how to care for the material
• Learn how water activates colour
• Create soft shading and depth
• experiment with blending colours

You don’t need to be good at art, you only need to follow along.

• Adults who want to try art or reconnect with art making.
• Beginners who haven’t drawn in years

Even if you are experienced with watercolour paints, WC pencil works differently.

Bring: your own beverage, water and snack - i have pillows for the seats but only a limited number so you may bring your own if you wish.
